Xavier LeMarcus Gipson

Xavier LeMarcus Gipson was born on June 18, 2002 to Tiffany Waits and Warren Gipson. He was the apple of his mother’s eye. While he loved all sports, he really loved the Detroit Lions and the Houston Rockets. Xavier was a well-rounded athlete who excelled in football and track and field. In the area of track and field, he was a regional competition finalist for 2019 and 2020.

Xavier is a posthumous 2021 Graduate of Ferris High School. He was scheduled to attend Bentley College in Fall 2021 on a dual scholarship for football and track and field. 

He was preceded in death by his Aunt Venetta Gipson and Grandparents Harold Ray Gipson and Beatrice Gipson. 

He leaves to cherish his mother, Tiffany Waits and father Warren Gipson (Nervada); Grandparents Wanda and Elmer Joe Holbert; half-brother Warren Gipson Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teammates and classmates.
