Henderson Sr. in San Antonio, Tx.
Orine Henderson - Thompson received her formal education at Avalon Public Schools in
Avalon, Texas.
Orine Henderson - Thompson accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and was united with
the St. John Baptist Church in Avalon, Texas.
She was employed by Mr. and Mrs. Rod Riggins, as a housekeeper for 19 years and a caregiver
taking care of Mrs. Phyllis mother for 5 years. She retired 10 years ago.
In her leisure she enjoyed playing bingo and listening to music.

Orine departed this life on December 31, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Addie Lee and Sammy Henderson Sr., her son;
Robert Roy Henderson Sr., her grandson; Burfie Henderson, great grandson; Nathan Jackson,
her sister; Addie Mae Caldwell and three brothers; Willie D., Sammy Jr., and L.D. Henderson.
She leaves to cherish her memory:

Henderson, Lorene Henderson, Shawntah Renee Henderson all of Dallas, Texas;
13 Grandchildren whom she raised; Lawanna L. Henderson, Larry D. Henderson Sr.
La’Gratchen S. Sulcer, Gregory R. Washington Jr., Robert R, Henderson Jr., Lester Henderson,
Orine Henderson, Robert Tyrone Walker, Andrea Kelly, Danny Henderson, Michael Henderson,
Aaron Henderson and Sarah Walker all of Dallas, Texas.

Henderson all of Dallas, Texas. Lena Henderson of Fort worth, Texas, Johnny Henderson of

A devoted Special friend of 42 years; Mrs. Betty Ann Carter.
Orine Thompson helped raise Rod and Phyllis Riggins two children; Brooke and Allie Riggins for
19 years and she was the caretaker for Mrs. Riggins' mother; Dorothy Burbridge for 5 years.
A host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
