Linda Faye (Sample) Young

Linda Faye Young, was given her angel wings on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at T. Boone Pickens Hospice
and Palliative Care Center. Her final days were
surrounded by her family and friends.
Linda Faye was the last-born child of Joe and Sarah
Sample of Dawson, Texas.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age; at Hopewell Baptist Church, Dawson, TX. Also during this time Linda was united in holy matrimony to Roy Lee Hall. Their union was blessed with one child.

As Linda’s life and love for the Lord grew stronger she united with Griggs Chapel of Dallas TX where she was a faithful choir member. Linda later moved back to Dawson and was wedded to Carey Young and continued to fellowship with several other churches in Dawson, Corsicana area. Her christian journey led her to Second Mission where she attended until her health started to decline.
Her formal education was completed at GW Carver and Dawson High School, Dawson, TX and she was employed by Foster Grandparents of Dawson, TX.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Sarah Sample; 2 brothers, Joe Dean Sample and William Earl Sample; and 1 sister Ruby Francis McGrew. She leaves to cherish her memory 1 daughter, Letrece Hall (Dallas, TX). 1 sister Elvertis (Birt) Cole (Archie) Dallas, TX; 3 brothers, Tommy Sample (Lelar) Dawson, TX; James Elbert Sample; (Oklahoma); Glendale Sample (Linda) Dallas, TX; 2 special friends Marvin Champion and Nona Kirby with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
