Early Life
Bryant David Jones was born on July 27, 1963, to the proud parents Ocie and Mathis Lee Jones in Ennis, Texas. He received his formal education through the Ennis Independent School District, where he built lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

Faith Journey
At an early age, Bryant accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at The Independent Missionary Baptist Church. Though life’s path took him many places, his foundation of faith remained a steady part of who he was.

Work and Passion
Bryant was employed at Big E Tire Shop, where he worked faithfully and skillfully with tires until his sudden passing. His strong work ethic and easygoing spirit made him well-loved by coworkers and customers alike.

Life and Leisure
Bryant lived life his way — full of laughter, love, and loyalty. He enjoyed playing basketball with his homeboys, watching television, barbecuing, hanging out on the lot on Waco Street, and keeping his car “ride and shine” ready. To know Bryant was to know a man who could make any moment lighter with his humor and his smile.

Transition
On November 4, 2025, Bryant David Jones answered the Master’s call. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathis and Ocie Jones, and his grandmother, Thelma Mechant.

Legacy of Love
He leaves to cherish his memory two loving sisters, Linnie Brown (David) and Tammy Perry (James); nieces, Whitney and Haley Perry; nephew, Brandon Brown; great-nieces, Meila Ford and Kambri Perry; great-nephews, Jamie Perry and Logan Hollins; and a host of family and friends who will forever hold him dear.

Affectionately known as “Briany” to those closest to him, Bryant will be remembered for his sense of humor, pleasant smile, and compassionate heart. Though he often joked that he attended the “University of the Streets,” his life taught lessons of love, loyalty, and laughter that touched everyone he met.

Long Live Bryant David Jones — a life well-lived, a love well-shared, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
